WE HAVE WAYS FEST

We don’t have many rules, but we do believe they’re good ones.

Mainly, it’s about working together to help keep you safe while you’re at We Have Ways Fest.

We want the festival to be a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Harassment, aggression, or abusive behaviour towards our staff, volunteers, participants, and attendees will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the festival site.

Pets including dogs are not allowed in the festival site or car park. Please do not bring your dog. We do welcome assistance dogs at the festival.

If you plan on bringing an assistance dog, please email us at festival@goalhangerfilms.com with a copy of your Assistance Dog ID card.

This is a Second World War festival, and there will be military hardware moving around the site all weekend. We also operate blank-firing artillery, which means there are very loud noises.

>> You must obey our staff’s safety guidance at all times – this is for your safety.

>>You must not touch any military hardware without getting permission from the exhibitors.

>> You must not enter any areas that are marked as being off limits to festival visitors.

We have zero tolerance for Nazi uniforms, insignia or symbols. We reserve the right to remove anyone found breaching this rule.

To avoid confusion with invited re-enactors, we ask visitors NOT to wear any form of military or Second World War uniform, or accessories.

We are an outdoor event that has stage locations indoors, in the form of marquees. Our smoking policy reflects legislation – there are no internal smoking or vaping areas at the festival.

Please be mindful of smoking or vaping or around the Food and Drink areas.

All stalls serving alcohol will be operating a Challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, please ensure that you bring valid ID (such as a passport or driving licence) as proof of age.

Please do not bring glass bottles onto the festival site. These will be removed and disposed of by staff on arrival.

We have zero tolerance for substance abuse and restricted or illegal substances.

If substance abuse is suspected then we reserve the right to ask individuals to leave the site.

The following items are NOT permitted into the festival or the festival campsite. Any person found with any of these prohibited items may have the item(s) removed by a member of the staff:

  • Campfires, firewood and fire starters
